Panama City, Fla., February 17, 2005

Century Boats has reaffirmed its commitment as the presenting
sponsor of the 2005 Nextel Professional Tarpon Tournament Series (PTTS). The televised series is the largest live-release tarpon tournament in the state of Florida, featuring fi ve regular season events and one championship event held in Boca Grande Pass, Fla.
Century Boats will provide fi rst-place prizes for each event in the series. Winners will receive a Century 1902 Bay Boat powered by a Yamaha F115 EFI 4-Stroke engine and Continental aluminum trailer. The winner of the Jim Beam Tarpon Cup Championship, featuring the series top 25 teams based on points, will receive a Century 2202 Bay Boat powered by a Yamaha VZ200 4-Stroke engine and Continental aluminum trailer.

“We are pleased to enter our second year as a sponsor of the Professional Tarpon Tournament Series, and based upon last year’s success of the tournament series and television show, we are looking forward to another successful year,” said Dean Burnett, vice president and general manager of Century Boats. Burnett added that the redesigned Century 1902 Bay Boat is an excellent fi t for tarpon and other in-shore saltwater fi shing. Upgrades to the 1902 include a new gauge layout and redesigned console, new speaker
locations for optimum sound, wide opening rod tubes with cap covers, and wider access IPS hatches
among other new features.

The series will be fi lmed and broadcast on the Sun Sports Network. The 13-week series will begin airing July 1. This year, production crews will rig several tournament boats with “lipstick” cameras to give viewers up-close and personal coverage of the fi shing as it happens.

The 2005 Nextel PTTS qualifying events will be held May 21, May 29, June 5, and June 12. The Jim Beam Tarpon Cup Championship will be held June 19. A non-series Ladies Day Tournament will be held
